What do you think living “The Good Life” is?
Is it something you are seeking?
Maybe “The Good Life” is this elusive life that you are desperately to create so you can feel abundant. A thinner body, better behaved children, more money, a nicer house, nicer clothes, more expensive car, fancier holidays, more time for you.
If this is the case, the idea of “the good life” is causing you PAIN. “The Good Life” makes you think of all the things you don’t currently have. It sounds like a lovely thought but it’s actually creating SUFFERING.
Isn’t that crazy?
This is what I want to offer you.
You get to decide how you want to think about your life. Just notice for now that you don’t think your life is enough.
Those kinds of thoughts are HUMAN. I think them too. I just don’t judge myself for it any more.
It’s possible that you could believe that your current life IS “The Good Life”.
Often this is not possible. (I can see you!)
So I want to offer an alternative. What if, in this exact moment you could believe that your life had given you everything you need. You would feel sufficient. You have food, water, clothing, somewhere to reside in this moment.
If you practice this, you can create moments of relief. The more you practice, the easier it will become to go to this place. This is how you can create a new habit. You will end up feeling better. And you will be one step closer to believing that the life you are currently living is “The Good Life”. When you truly believe that, from that abundant place, you create the life of your dreams.
